Ezekiel Elliott returning to Cowboys as both sides agree to terms on a contract, per report Elliott is returning to the Cowboys after a year with the Patriots The Dallas Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott were separated for a year, but made sure the divorce didn't last long.  Elliott is returning to the Cowboys as the two sides have agreed to terms on a contract to bring one of the greatest running backs in Cowboys history back to Dallas,  per NFL Network . The deal is contingent pending a physical.  Elliott is back with Dallas after one season with the New England Patriots, which he finished with 184 carries for 642 yards and three touchdowns -- a career low 3.5 yards per carry. He split time in the Patriots backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson. The Cowboys are bringing back Elliott to help solidify a running game that is essentially nonexistent after Tony Pollard departed in free agency.  Rico Dowdle was the projected starting running back with Deuce Vaughn and free agent signing R

Rafael Nadal delivers a timely reminder of his calibre to delight home crowd In the feverish buildup to his final appearance at the Madrid Open,  Rafael Nadal  made himself abundantly clear. It was not too long ago that he was unsure if he would ever return to the court at all and so, with his lingering physical limitations, he came to Madrid with the intention of saying goodbye to his home crowd, not to win. But this is a 22-time grand slam champion whose career has been defined by his ability to win tennis matches on clay courts regardless of age, physical shape or environment. Of course he was not going to leave without a desperate fight. Barely a week after he was dismantled by the very same opponent, Nadal returned to the fourth round here with an excellent performance, defeating Alex de Minaur, the 10th seed, 7-6 (6), 6-3 after more than two hours. “I have had many difficult months, not on a personal level but on a professional level,” he said. “I was always waking up with th

'Boy Kills World' review: Awesome action, but… If you buy a ticket purely to experience the action scenes of  Boy Kills World , you might get your money's worth. They're spread out at irregular intervals, but they're usually a treat. One of them even features Yayan Ruhian, aka Mad Dog from  The Raid , one of the defining action movies of the 21st century. This buys the film — which stars  IT 's Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd and boasts horror legend Sam Raimi as a producer — some fleeting credibility, if nothing more. Yet there's no getting around the fact that  Boy Kills World  can be a difficult watch. The fights, drawn from the deep well of Southeast Asian action cinema, are generally shot and choreographed with expertise. However, getting to them requires sitting through an amateurish dystopian comedy-drama with flimsy political wallpapering. There's a stark difference between what debuting director and co-writer Moritz Mohr brings to the table and the flourish

Who is America's greatest president, and what were his accomplishments? The title of "America's greatest president" is subjective and can vary depending on individual perspectives and criteria. However, one president often cited for their significant contributions to the country is Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln served as the 16th President of the United States from 1861 to 1865. Here are some of his key accomplishments: 1. **Preservation of the Union**: Lincoln led the country through the Civil War, ultimately preserving the Union and preventing the secession of the southern states. 2. **Emancipation Proclamation**: In 1863, Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which declared that all slaves in Confederate-held territory were to be set free. While it didn't immediately free all slaves, it fundamentally changed the nature of the Civil War and laid the groundwork for the eventual abolition of slavery. 3. **Gettysburg Address**: Lincoln delivered one of the m

Five Key Questions In The Denver Nuggets Vs. Los Angeles Lakers Playoff Rematch In a reunion of last year’s Western Conference Finals teams, the second-seed Denver Nuggets led by Nikola Jokic will face LeBron James’ seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs, as Denver begins the quest to defend their 2023 championship, the franchise’s first ever. Denver drew the Lakers after Los Angeles, who initially finished eighth in the West, defeated the seventh-place New Orleans Pelicans in the play-in tournament to secure the seventh playoff seed. This will be the third time in five years the two teams will have matched up in the postseason, and while due in part to that fact they are deeply familiar with each other, some significant differences make this, as Nuggets head coach Michael Malone called it after a recent practice, “a different series.” Guys are coming off a 57-win season, and we understand what we have in front of us,” Malone said. “And I think the

Why is Donald Trump incapable of turning off his caps lock? Donald Trump's use of caps lock in his tweets and public statements was often seen as a stylistic choice rather than a technical incapability. Trump's frequent use of caps lock could be attributed to several factors: 1. **Attention-grabbing**: Caps lock tends to make text stand out and can grab attention more effectively than lowercase text. Trump may have used it to emphasize certain points or to ensure that his tweets were noticed amidst the vast amount of content on social media. 2. **Emphasis**: Trump's communication style often involved emphasizing certain words or phrases to convey strong emotions or convictions. Caps lock allowed him to do this more visibly. 3. **Consistency with Branding**: Trump's branding often emphasized strength, confidence, and assertiveness. Using caps lock consistently across his tweets could have been part of maintaining that image. 4. **Personal Preference**: It's po

Pies find their mojo to power past Port Collingwood will need to defy recent history if they are going to recover from 0-3 to go back-to-back – the last time that happened was North Melbourne in 1975 – but the reigning premiers are revving again after sending a statement on Saturday. It looked concerning early. The Magpies conceded five of the first six goals and trailed by 31 points late in the first quarter, before rediscovering the magic that delivered them to the promised land in 2023, blowing Port Adelaide away after quarter-time by banking a 42-point win at the MCG. Craig McRae’s side kicked the final six goals of the second quarter in a run of eight unanswered goals either side of half-time to reignite a premiership defence that was winless after losses to Greater Western Sydney, Sydney and St Kilda to start the year, but is now 3-3 ahead of Anzac Day. If Easter Thursday gave the Magpies a pulse and the Gather Round escape kept the momentum going, Collingwood has resuscit

Taylor Swift's 'Tortured Poets' is written in blood For all of its fetishization of new sounds and stances, pop music was born and still thrives by asking fundamental questions. For example, what do you do with a broken heart? That's an awfully familiar one. Yet romantic failure does feel different every time. Its isolating sting produces a kind of obliterating possessiveness:  my  pain,  my  broken delusions,  my  hope for healing. A broken heart is a screaming baby demanding to be held and coddled and nurtured until it grows up and learns how to function properly. This is true in the era of the one-percent glitz goddess as it was when blues queens and torch singers organized society's crying sessions. It's true of Taylor Swift, who's equated songwriting with the heart's recovery since she released " Teardrops on my Guitar " 18 years ago, and whose 11th album,  The Tortured Poets Department , is as messy and confrontational as a good girl&
